Reuse your last answer

When a question has a previous answer, Formanza can fill it in for you. A label shows the date of the check-in it came from.

Unit free. Minimum 0 or more, maximum up to 999 999; 0 to 3 decimals. The step must be representable with those decimals. Comma and point both accepted. An unusual-change threshold is optional.

Calculations and fixed values

Share fixed values across forms

Save a number with its unit or a date under Settings › Data. Give it a name, then use it in formulas across forms without entering it again.

Names up to 40 characters. Dates from 1900 and not in the future. The type is chosen when the value is created. Removing a value that formulas read asks once and removes those calculated values and their goals, in every form. Not a user profile: the app keeps no profile.

Build a formula step by step

Use the formula keypad to combine number fields, fixed data, other calculated values and numbers. It supports addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, powers and parentheses. Tap a piece of the formula to insert or delete, or hold and drag it to move it.

Free unit and 0 to 3 decimals. While you build it, the footer shows the result with your latest record, or names the chip that is out of place. Division by zero or an impossible root gives no value. Group results into ranges

Divide a number field or calculated value into ranges. Give every range a label and stored value, then set where each range begins.

Find your calculated values

Calculated values behave like screens: shown in the day summary under “Calculated values”, in the history detail, as a preview under the number while you type, and as a Progress card right after what they read. They can carry goals.

Never stored: they are computed every time from the day's answers. A calculated value cannot be the highlighted summary value, and its rows show no change against the previous day. A missing data value leaves it empty, and the card says so.

Goals
